Here's a simple recipe for my favorite Red Drum Fish Tacos:

  • 1 lb red drum fish, cut into small chunks
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • Shredded cabbage or lettuce
  • Lime wedges
  • Mango Salsa
  • Hot Sauce
  • Guacamole
  • Sour Cream

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add fish chunks to the pan and sprinkle with spice mixture. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until fish is cooked through.
  4. Heat tortillas in a dry pan or on a griddle.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing fish chunks in the center of each tortilla, and topping with shredded cabbage or lettuce, lime wedges, mango salsa, hot sauce, guacamole, and sour cream
